The Maison du Magayant museum
Located by the sea, the former lime kiln of la Noue is home to the Maison du Magayant eco-museum, offering a presentation of the cultural, biological and environmental heritage of the Ré foreshore beach.
The Bellère windmill
Located on the side of the road and reachable on bike by a little path, this is one of the last mills of the region. It is now inhabited and looked after by locals, but you can very well look at it from the road. To discover as you cycle along on the Île de Ré.
The bell tower of Sainte-Marie
In 709, on the same spot where the church currently lies, Eudes, Duke of Aquitaine, built for the Île de Ré inhabitants a fortified castle to protect them against Viking and British invasions. Discover the history of Sainte-Marie-de-Ré and the view from its tower top.
